Do I feel that I have to be available, at all times? Twenty some-odd years ago, I would’ve absolutely replied, “Yes.” But, today is a new day. When pagers/beepers first appeared on the scene,
it was great to have immediate access to someone. Remember when you had to wait until the phone was no longer busy to get through to someone? Everyone had their own little codes. Mine was 537 which is Les spelled backwards. Short for Celeste.
Then the pagers had voicemail on the. Oh Joy!. Then we were able to call people without using a pay-phone with cell-phones.
So I was always available. I thought I was important.
Now, in this new day, I just look at my phone when it rings.
I have a Samsung Note 4 but it is not for talking on.
It is strictly for entertainment purposes, not for talking on.
So, No. I do nt believe or feel that I need to make myself for anyone anymore except my parents and children.
The End 😉
