Today’s prompt is to describe a time when I was feeling at the top of the world and then all of sudden to a sinking low feeling, or vice versa. Well for me, I would say it was from a doubtful and uncontrollably nervous feeling to an overjoyed feeling.
You know as mother’s we tend to be overly nervous about our children and the choices when they enter adulthood. Did I tech them enough? Where they even listening? Did I equip them enough to handle this unloving and untrustworthy world?
Well, for me I was nervous about my son and his decision going into adulthood, since he is 19 now. Well, he told me yesterday that he has DECIDED to go into the USAF (United States Air Force). I was and am so overjoyed. My father is a USAF Vietnam vet so it only makes sense that this would happen. however, he was unsure if he wanted to go or not. Well, he is working with the recruiter and if, The Lord says the same, he will be leaving for basic training in February. What more can a mother ask for. He can travel, like he wants to do so badly. But now he can do it with the USAF.
