Change The World 1 Phone at a Time
AWESOME Video by Charstarlene. This video shows where we are in this new digital world/age that we now live in.
What do we do?
How do we communicate with others from the wired and wireless world?
Conversations have ceased to exist as well as genuine connections. everyone, and I mean everyone wants to be seen and recognized for their awesomely amazing talents and gifts.
But are we all going about it the wrong way?
Is there hope for us as a race of humans with the intelligence to be creative beings that we strive to be? Can we look up and show interest and compassion to the life that is in front of us begging to be seen?
Instead of looking and campaigning for Facebook ‘Likes’ or Instagram/Twitter ‘Followers’ from people we will never meet personally in life.
There are people in front in front of each of us at this very moment, as we are reading and writing in our blogs, posts, comments, or emails, wondering if we even notice or care about their existence.
I loved this video, because it reminded me of my own ‘fails’ in this department. I’m sure we can all find a part of our lives that can be revamped into a more well-rounded and healthy lifestyle that includes real authentic connections and not empty ones.
I will challenge myself a few days a week to purposely “forget my phone” So I can engage and experience life as compassionately and connected as possible. Will you join me in this challenge?
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Be the Change.”
